To The Deep Sea Creatures

Amid the time of chance when dreams were known
Detached from home so lost I was in world;
A world where diver I was all alone
On was I for me and not for gold.

In this expanse where miles and miles I dived,
As I submerged too deep the pressure pressed;
And then I got so crushed the more I strived,
So shelter searching was my last for rest.

But on my routes I’d seen the deep creatures
Had sizes of large, medium and the small;
All different in colors and natures,
With various stop and compass and some call.

They beings of the sea resembled me—
They strived and dived and all took chances too,
For life for its completion—all like me
But then success alone I couldn’t do.

Soon drawn by force that I had neared a few;
“From question there had grown a colloquy,
Then bound all psyches and pledged no adieu.”
With this I thanked the Force who bound us we.

As time flew by we got to know us more
Like locks we were that got unbolted quick
Had known our zests for life we made uproar!
And wondered I if I'd be isle and sick.

In harsh expanse where miles and miles we dived,
As we submerged too deep the pressure pressed;
And then we got so squeezed the big we strived,
But sigh’s a great because we’re us at best!

From all the sea of them I’ve known a few—
 A few of them I know that now is us—
It’s them plus I so I become a new—

A me whom I can see if we are us.
